Job summary

SOTI is seeking a P&C Business Partner to join our Galway team on a hybrid basis. You will lead employee relations, coach managers, and partner with Legal on contracts and policies, helping drive HR programs and change initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR, a post-secondary HR education, and hands-on HRIS experience (Workday preferred) to support our culture and talent initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR role.
• Experience with HRIS; strong preference for Workday.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations.

We are seeking an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise who can partner with managers and leaders across the business. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex employee matters, coaching managers, supporting organisational change, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. You will be comfortable developing and improving HR programs, working closely with legal teams on employment matters, and contributing to culture, talent, and employer brand initiatives.

What you will do:

• Proactively handle all employee relations issues with staff and management
• Keep up-to-date on applicable HR legislation and make recommendations for enhancements to employee handbooks
• Work with Managers to coach, discipline and develop employees
• Work with Managers on goal development and tracking for employees
• Work with Legal team on development of contracts, policies and all employment law matters
• Manage exit process including terminations, exit interview and all documentation
• Provide guidance and direction to junior level HR team members
• Administration and enhancement of existing HR programs
• Develop, implement and administer new HR programs
• Assist with the development and promotion of the SOTI Employer Brand and Value Proposition, both internally and externally
• Work with leadership on process improvements and facilitating changes
• Work with members of the HR team on learning and development initiatives, talent acquisition events and projects and other projects as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in HR role
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline
• Experience with HRIS, strong preference for Workday
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of organizational change, culture transformation process and change management
• Ability to prioritize high volume of projects
• Ability to manage and complete tasks from start to finish
