Muddy Boots Outdoor Preschool in Clarinbridge, Co. Galway, is seeking an AIM Support Worker for a temporary contract. The role supports a child in a nature-based preschool, with outdoor learning as a core approach.

The successful candidate will work 38 weeks of the preschool year plus 8 weeks of holiday camps, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm, providing inclusive support and collaboration with the team.

Qualifikationen

• Requires QQI Level 5 ECE qualification.
• Demonstrated passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting readiness.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality AIM support to a child under AIM.
• Encourage participation in all preschool activities.
• Support independence, communication, confidence and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with Room Leader, Manager and staff.
• Plan and adapt activities to be inclusive and accessible.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Maintain observations and records as required.
• Follow Tusla, AIM, safeguarding and service policies.
• Engage in outdoor learning in all seasons and weather.
