Job summary

Woodie’s is Ireland’s leading DIY, Home & Garden retailer, with 35 stores nationwide and an online presence. We are recruiting for a Logistics Outbound Specialist to join our Logistics Team and drive efficient, cost‑effective distribution.

The role requires at least 2 years in a similar position, strong understanding of logistics trends, and proficiency in Excel & Power BI. Experience with Business Central or similar ERP is valued, with a 39‑hour Monday–Friday schedule and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Retail experience is advantageous but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with third‑party logistics providers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day logistics operations to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to boost performance.
• Assist in resolving internal or external logistics issues.
• Collect and report data on inbound, stock, and outbound deliveries.
• Gather supply chain data and recommend cost-reduction changes.
• Support ongoing projects to improve systems and processes.
• Other duties as requested by line Manager.
