Job summary

HID Global is seeking an Order Entry Specialist in Galway, Ireland to process high volumes of orders and build strong customer relationships across the EMEA region. You will ensure accurate data entry in EBS, monitor trends, and collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve issues while expanding product knowledge through ongoing training.

You will work in a fast-paced environment within HID’s PACS division, contributing to streamlined order flows and a customer‑centric experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service or order management experience essential.
• Familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Oracle or Salesforce is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a busy customer service/order management role.
• Knowledge of OCR tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process orders from internal and external customers within SLA with accurate data entry in EBS.
• Highlight trends affecting order processing and coordinate with Customer Service to resolve.
• Build knowledge of HID products and participate in training as required.

As our Order Entry Specialist , you’ll support HID’s successby:

• Process orders from both internal and external customers within SLA – ensuring data entry accuracy in EBS.
• Highlight trends impacting processing purchase orders and work with relevant Customer Service team to resolve.
• Build your knowledge of HID products; attend training as required.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Highlight opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement updates.
• Demonstrate an agile approach to support our business.

Education/ Or Experience

• Customer Service or Order management experience essential.
• Previous experience of working within a busy customer service/order management department, helping to achieve excellent time management, efficient prioritization and delivering on all KPIs is essential
• Some experience of working in a technological environment would be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
• Previous experience of using the Oracle system and Sales Force would be a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of using an OCR tool would be a distinct advantage.
