Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited is seeking an Optical Deployment Engineer to join our AWS Infrastructure team. You will build and rollout global DWDM networks, drive scaling of designs to meet customer demand, and create operational processes for the DWDM network.

You will collaborate across Networking to design new solutions and evaluate equipment for tenders. The role requires strong communication, project management, and troubleshooting skills, with a rigorous interview process

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with the rollout of large DWDM networks and Optical network technologies
• Experience with optical planning and modelling tools
• Professional development experience with Python or similar tool for network automation scripting
