Job summary

MJTECHNOLOGIES LIMITED in Ireland is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise AV, UC and IT infrastructure projects. You will ensure contractual compliance, manage budgets, and align with client requirements.

You will head cross-functional teams, optimize workflows with Lean initiatives, develop capacity forecasts, and implement KPIs, SLAs and dashboards to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Direct end-to-end operational delivery of enterprise AV, Unified Communications, and IT infrastructure projects.
• Optimize operational workflows with Lean process improvements to reduce lead times and improve efficiency.
• Manage cross-functional teams across project managers, AV/network engineers, procurement, logistics, and field technicians.
• Develop strategies, capacity forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize utilization while maintaining quality.
• Oversee procurement, supplier performance, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely availability of equipment.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, and dashboards to monitor efficiency and drive improvement.
• Direct risk management across project, commercial, operational, and supply chain domains.
• Collaborate with solution architects, consultants, and sales during pre-sales and planning phases.
• Implement quality standards and installation procedures for enterprise AV and IT integration.
• Monitor financial performance: budgets, labor, procurement, subcontractors, and profitability.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and service arrangements to optimize costs.
• Lead planning for large deployments including Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, digital signage, IPTV.
• Ensure health and safety, information security, and quality compliance on-site.
• Drive customer satisfaction through performance monitoring and post-installation support.
• Champion digital transformation with project management platforms and BI tools.

Job Description

• Direct end-to-end operational delivery of enterprise Audio-Visual (AV), Unified Communications, and IT infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, technical specifications, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Optimize operational workflows by implementing Lean process improvement initiatives that reduce project lead times, improve installation efficiency, and enhance overall service delivery performance.
• Manage cross-functional teams comprising project managers, AV engineers, network engineers, procurement specialists, logistics personnel, and field technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop operational strategies, resource allocation plans, and capacity forecasting models to maximize workforce utilization while maintaining high-quality project outcomes.
• Oversee procurement operations, supplier performance, inventory management, and logistics coordination to ensure timely availability of AV equipment, networking hardware, and installation materials.
• Establish operational governance frameworks, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and performance dashboards to monitor business efficiency and drive continuous operational improvement.
• Direct risk management activities by proactively identifying project, commercial, operational, and supply chain risks and implementing effective mitigation and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with solution architects, technical consultants, and sales teams during pre-sales and project planning phases to ensure operational feasibility, resource readiness, and successful project transitions.
• Implement quality management processes, installation standards, and operational compliance procedures to ensure consistent delivery of enterprise-grade AV and IT integration solutions.
• Monitor project financial performance by controlling operational budgets, labour costs, procurement expenditure, subcontractor utilization, and project profitability.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, supplier contracts, and service arrangements to strengthen vendor relationships, improve procurement efficiency, and optimize operational costs.
• Lead operational planning and execution for large-scale deployments involving Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, digital signage, IPTV, enterprise networking, and integrated smart workplace technologies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety legislation, company policies, client site requirements, information security practices, and quality management standards throughout project execution.
• Drive customer satisfaction initiatives by monitoring service performance, resolving complex operational issues, overseeing post-installation support activities, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives by integrating project management platforms, operational reporting systems, workflow automation, and business intelligence tools to improve operational visibility.
