HRM Search Partners is assisting an established international life sciences business with manufacturing operations in Sligo to recruit an Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager will lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, with responsibility for production performance, quality compliance, people leadership and continuous improvement. This role requires a proven track record in regulated manufacturing environments.

Formación

• Significant experience in manufacturing operations with management responsibility.
• Knowledge of GMP, regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Experience leading production planning and operational performance.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or another regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

With continued investment in its manufacturing capabilities and a focus on operational performance, quality and growth, the business is seeking to appoint an Operations Manager to lead its manufacturing function.

The Role

The Operations Manager will lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, with responsibility for production performance, quality compliance, people leadership and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory and EHS requirements.
• Lead and develop manufacturing teams, promoting accountability and strong performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve productivity, efficiency and cost performance.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering and other functions to resolve operational challenges.
• Support manufacturing development, capacity planning and wider business objectives.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong technical understanding and a track record of managing complex production environments.
