Job summary

RECRUITERS is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer – Operational Resilience in Dublin for a hybrid role. You will lead resilience assessments across regulated organisations, focusing on NIS2/CER requirements, and evaluate security measures within both cyber and physical environments.

The role demands senior experience in regulated settings, NFQ Level 8 in cybersecurity or equivalent, and ability to coordinate with Irish/EU authorities while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 8 qualification in Cybersecurity, Science, Technology, Engineering or related discipline, or significant senior experience.
• Recent senior experience within a regulated environment.
• Strong Operational Resilience experience across advisory, assurance and/or risk management.
• Experience with Irish or EU regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational resilience assessments, inspections and audits of regulated organisations.
• Assess resilience and compliance requirements under NIS2 and CER.
• Evaluate resilience measures across physical and cyber environments.
• Assess preparedness for cyber incidents, infrastructure failures, natural disasters and other major disruptions.
• Identify non-compliance and support remediation, follow-up audits and enforcement activities.
• Contribute to national resilience strategy and Irish and European working groups.
• Coordinate specialists and external advisors while mentoring team members.
