Job summary

Matrix Recruitment is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead for a manufacturing client based in South Co. Wicklow. Reporting to the Head of Performance, you’ll drive OpEx adoption and continuous improvement across the organisation.

You will coach and develop teams at all levels, lead cross-functional improvement projects, and influence leaders to deliver lasting performance improvements throughout the business, embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Lean / Six Sigma expertise with Black Belt or Master Black Belt equivalent.
• Strong change leadership能力 with ability to structure ambiguity and drive action.
• Commercial mindset with ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative, hands-on leader who brings cross‑functional teams on the CI journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Operational Excellence, embedding and continuously evolving the Business Excellence / OpEx framework, tools and daily routines across the organisation.
• Coach, mentor and develop teams at all levels, building strong OpEx and continuous improvement capability.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects that deliver clear bottom-line and top-line results.
• Work closely with leaders and teams, influencing without authority to drive lasting performance improvements.
• Drive OpEx adoption and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Performance or Continuous Improvement within regulated manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Lean / Six Sigma expert, with Black Belt, Master Black Belt or equivalent.
• A confident change leader who can structure ambiguity, manage projects and turn ideas into action.
• Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to engage, challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A collaborative, hands-on leader with a track record of bringing cross-functional teams on the CI journey.
