Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Capability & Operational Excellence Manager at Littleconnell Brewery in Co. Kildare, Ireland.

You will build and embed capability frameworks, lead learning programmes and drive continuous improvement to deliver safe, efficient, and consistent operations. In this high-visibility role, you will partner with Brewing, Engineering, Quality and Supply teams to develop frontline leadership, manage coaching initiatives, and implement governance and KPI reporting to track capability

Qualifications

Experience in capability development, learning or operational excellence in a manufacturing/operational setting.
Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills with influence across levels.
Experience designing and implementing training programmes and competency frameworks.
Data-driven mindset with ability to identify opportunities and deliver measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

Develop and embed site-wide capability strategy, competency frameworks and development pathways.
Design and deliver training, onboarding, certification and coaching programmes.
Strengthen frontline leadership through targeted development initiatives and coaching.
Lead implementation of continuous improvement methodologies for safety, quality and productivity.
Partner with operations to identify gaps and improve workforce resilience.
Establish governance, KPI frameworks and reporting for capability growth and training impact.
Use data and stakeholder collaboration to support business priorities and deliver improvements.
