Job summary

Amazon in Dublin seeks an experienced Software Developer for the AWS Lambda Runtimes team. You will shape how developers write and run code across Python, Node.js, Java, Go, Rust, and other languages, ensuring security, performance, and reliability at scale for trillions of invocations monthly.

You will collaborate across languages, engage with upstream communities, and balance patching urgency with customer impact while delivering best-in-class serverless experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience in software development in the last 3 years or professional non-internship software development.
• Experience designing or architecting scalable systems, or debugging and optimizing large-scale apps.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Track record of meaningful contributions to open source projects.
• Strong programming skills in at least two: Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or Rust.
