Open-Ended Funds Controller – Infrastructure

Job summary

KKR in Dublin seeks a senior fund accountant to manage day-to-day finance for an open-ended Infrastructure fund. You will oversee external administrators, ensure accurate reporting and collaborate with internal teams across tax, legal and compliance.

The role requires strong foundation in fund accounting, GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across time zones while maintaining high controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with open-end funds and/or private equity hybrid funds.
• Infrastructure experience preferred.
• Experience with external service providers and fund administrators.
• Public/private fund accounting, closing and reporting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS for Investment Companies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and relationship-building.
• Ability to work independently and across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial control, oversight and reporting for the Funds.
• Oversee fund accounting deliverables from external administrators.
• Manage cash reconciliations and capital transactions (subscriptions, calls, distributions).
• Collaborate with Global Client Solutions, Compliance, Tax, Legal, Tech, deal teams.
• Support quarterly reporting for consolidation and SOX requirements.
• Support annual/quarterly reporting to investors and regulators (Form PF/ADV, SFDR).
• Maintain expense processing, allocations and budgets for the Funds.
• Handle investor queries and ad-hoc reporting templates.
• Provide oversight of fund administrator SLAs and performance metrics.
• Liaise with external Fund Counsel on governing documents and notices.
