Job summary

Irish Country Meats, a division of ABP Foods Group, seeks a Forklift Driver to operate forklifts safely within a meat processing environment in Navan, Co. Meath.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving stock, and supporting warehouse activities while upholding food safety and health and safety standards. The role requires a valid forklift licence and previous forklift experience in manufacturing or food production, with flexibility for full-time or part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid forklift licence/certification.
• Experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, warehouse, or food production.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload raw materials, packaging, and products.
• Move stock between production, storage and dispatch areas.
• Carry out stock checks and support inventory control.
• Ensure handling complies with food safety and quality procedures.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Follow health & safety, food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Assist with general warehouse and dispatch duties as required.
