Jobgether SRL seeks an Online GRE Tutor to deliver one-on-one GRE prep sessions remotely from Ireland. You will focus on Verbal and/or Quantitative sections, diagnose student needs, and tailor study plans to help reach target scores.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Online GRE Tutor (Contract) based in Ireland.

As an Online GRE Tutor, you will help students strengthen their test‑taking skills and achieve their target scores through personalized, one‑on‑one virtual instruction. You will deliver focused tutoring in GRE Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, or both, adapting your teaching approach to each student’s needs. From initial diagnostics to tailored study plans and practice reviews, you will guide learners throughout their preparation journey. This fully remote, contract opportunity offers flexible scheduling and occasional assignments based on student demand. You will work directly with students online, providing clear explanations, constructive feedback, and structured guidance. The role is ideal for an experienced tutor or strong GRE test‑taker who enjoys helping others build confidence and reach their academic goals.

Accountabilities:

You will deliver personalized GRE preparation sessions, helping students identify areas for improvement, develop effective study strategies, and make measurable progress toward their target scores.

• Conduct one‑on‑one online GRE tutoring sessions in Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, or both, depending on your expertise.
• Assess each student’s current abilities through diagnostic activities and identify strengths, weaknesses, and learning priorities.
• Develop individualized study plans aligned with students’ target GRE scores, exam dates, and preparation needs.
• Assign relevant practice exercises and review completed work to reinforce concepts and improve performance.
• Explain challenging concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and levels of understanding.
• Monitor student progress and provide a concise progress report after each tutoring session.
• Maintain reliable scheduling and communicate professionally with students and the tutoring team.
• Deliver engaging online lessons using video conferencing platforms and digital whiteboards.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong GRE performance with effective teaching skills, patience, and the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way.

• An official GRE score of at least 160 in the section or sections you intend to teach. An ETS score report will be required.
• Previous GRE tutoring or teaching experience. Strong recent GRE test‑takers with other tutoring experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong subject knowledge in Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, or both, depending on the sections you wish to teach.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to individual student needs.
• Patience, reliability, and a student‑focused approach to teaching.
• Availability to accommodate North American time zones, from Eastern to Pacific time.
• A stable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace suitable for online instruction.
• Comfort using video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet and digital whiteboard tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage tutoring appointments responsibly.
