Job summary

FindTutors is looking for passionate and motivated Scottish Gaelic tutors to support students who want to learn, practise, or improve their Gaelic language skills.

This is a flexible tutoring opportunity ideal for native speakers, fluent speakers, students, graduates, language enthusiasts, or anyone with strong knowledge of Scottish Gaelic and a desire to help others learn.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Scottish Gaelic.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for languages, teaching and Scottish Gaelic culture.
• No previous tutoring experience required.
• Ability to adapt lessons to different levels and learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised Scottish Gaelic tutoring sessions.
• Help students improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Support beginners and intermediate learners with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
• Adapt lessons to each student’s level, goals and learning style.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Help students build confidence in using Scottish Gaelic in real-life contexts.
