Job summary

Dara Community Living is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide one-to-one support to individuals in their own homes in Ireland. The role focuses on helping people maintain independence, achieve personal goals, and engage with their communities under the New Directions Programme.

Contract is approximately 15-25 hours per week across two arrangements, with an initial 1-year fixed term. Full driving licence or access to a vehicle is advantageous, and relevant social care qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
