RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Staff Nurse for an Oncology Day Unit in Dublin, Ireland. The role focuses on safe preparation and administration of cytotoxic chemotherapy and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cancer care.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered General Nurse with oncology experience, strong leadership and teaching abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a Registered General Nurse licence in good standing with the NMBI.
• Minimum of two years’ clinical experience preferred, with oncology experience considered an advantage.
• Demonstrate strong teaching ability, leadership skills, professional judgement, critical thinking, and problem-solving capability.
• Show evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe preparation and administration of cytotoxic chemotherapy in accordance with guidelines.
• Administer prescribed chemotherapy via cannula, PICC line, Hickman line, or Portacath.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to provide specialist oncology care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care.
