Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Cork invites applications for Adaptation 2027, a 7-week adaptation programme for Oncology Nurses. The role is a full-time, 2-year contract with two performance reviews in the first 12 months, leading to a permanent staff nurse contract subject to permit status.

Essential requirements include an in-date NMBI decision letter for 2027, in-date OET/IELTS, at least 4 years’ acute experience and JCI accreditation, and oncology chemotherapy administration competence.

Qualifications

• NMBI decision letter for 2027 (in-date).
• In-date OET/IELTS for up to and including December 2027.
• At least 4 years’ experience within the last 6 years in an acute setting and JCI-accredited hospital.
• Extensive Medical Oncology experience with competency in chemotherapy administration.
