Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Cork invites applications for Adaptation 2027, a 7-week adaptation for Staff Nurse Theatre. Applicants must hold a current NMBI decision letter for 2027 and an in-date OET/IELTS through Dec 2027, with at least 4 years of recent acute theatre experience in a JCI-accredited hospital.

Two-year contract applies; after 12 months, two performance reviews may lead to a permanent Staff Nurse contract, subject to permit status.

Adaptation Programme Theatre 2027

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2,500 staff including 350 leading consultants. Bon Secours Hospital Cork are now inviting applications for Adaptation 2027 for a 7 week Adaptation for Staff Nurse Theatre

Essential Requirements:

• Must hold an in-date decision letter from NMBI for 2027
• Must hold an in in-date OET/IELTS for up to and including December 2027.
• Must have at least 4 years’ experience within the last 6 years in an acute Theatre setting and JCI accredited hospital.

Person Specification:

• Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
• Must possess strong communication skills and clinical skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Must be computer literate
• Flexibility and excellent use of initiative

Terms & Conditions:

• 2 years employment contract - during the first 12 months two performance reviews will take place, once completed satisfactorily you will receive a Permanent Staff Nurse contract subject to permit status.
