Job summary

Ashgrove Renewables in Ireland is seeking an experienced General Operative to join our team. You will perform snagging, finishing, and minor repairs on domestic properties upgraded under SEAI Home Upgrade Schemes, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance.

You must have at least 2 years in a construction trade, a Full clean driving license, a flexible approach to travel within Munster, and a proactive, hands-on attitude.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years experience in a construction trade.
• Some electrical experience is advantageous but not essential.
• A CSCS Mobile Scaffolding Card is strongly desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of SEAI energy upgrade works and related measures.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling.
• Confident problem solver with a hands-on approach.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills or gain industry certificates as deemed necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive level of service on-site, including snagging, minor carpentry, plastering, breaking out concrete, blocking fireplaces, installing attic insulation, patching plasterboard, etc.
