Job summary

Atlas Copco Holding GmbH is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to service and repair air compressors, dryers, and generators across Leinster, Ireland. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs on-site and remotely, and document work using company systems.

You will build strong customer relationships, work with a support team, and travel across the region with occasional overtime. The role requires a mechanical or electrical qualification and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Education: recognised mechanical or electrical qualification or hands-on experience in a technical field.
• Experience: field-based mechanical/electrical engineering in industrial/service environment.
• Knowledge & skills: diagnostic and fault-finding in mechanical/electrical systems; familiarity with VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring; computer literate; strong customer service and communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on-site and remotely with team support.
• Completing service documentation using company systems.
• Building positive customer relationships and delivering excellent service.
• Collaborating with colleagues and sharing knowledge within the team.
• Following safety procedures and company policies.
