Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland Limited is seeking an experienced Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer (Offshore Power and Renewables) to lead complex offshore survey projects and geotechnical deliverables for Ireland and the UK.

You will bring Chartered status, Level 8+ with MSc/PhD preferred, and a proven track record in offshore design, foundations, and cable trenches, while mentoring teams and advancing digital geotechnics.

Qualifications

• Offshore geotechnical project experience with a strong survey component.
• Honours degree at Level 8 or higher; MSc or PhD preferred.
• Chartered status CEng, MICE or equivalent.
• Proven leadership in offshore design and projects.
• Willingness to travel within Ireland and overseas.
• Fluent English, driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore multidiscipline survey projects through all lifecycle stages.
• Provide technical reviews and develop geotechnical capabilities.
• Engage with clients and manage project stakeholders.
• Mentor and lead interdisciplinary project teams.
• Drive digital innovation in offshore geotechnics.
