Job description

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Offaly Traveller Movement are looking to recruit an Assistant Youth Worker. The purpose of this role is to support students who are participating in the Inclusive Education Project which is set up to support young Travellers to stay in education after the age of 16. The role will include assisting students in the study hub, personal development plans and promoting benefits of education, along with School Supports, cultural awareness and Parental Supports.
