  • Location: Kells, Meath
  • Duration: 6 months +
  • Shift pattern: Day shift
  • Work pattern: Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 35 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Disability Network team. This role involves working with children with a range of disabilities to enhance their daily living skills and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's needs and abilities.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
  • Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff or students, if applicable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with CORU is mandatory
  • Experience in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic setting.
  • Must be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
  • Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
