A health services provider in South Dublin is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support clients with mental health difficulties. The role involves implementing evidence-based interventions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining clinical records. Ideal candidates will have a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, CORU registration, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties, supporting them to develop the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. You will be part of a collaborative team that values compassion, innovation, and client-centred care.
Our client offers a comprehensive range of services designed to address various mental health and wellbeing needs, including support for addictions, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, ensuring personalised and compassionate care for every individual.
Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
Support clients in developing daily living skills, coping strategies, and routines that promote independence and wellbeing.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and person-centred care.
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to care planning and review processes.
Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.
CORU registration
Experience working in mental health.
Strong understanding of recovery-focused, trauma-informed, and client-centred approaches.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
