Job summary

Soaring Health in Melbourne is seeking new graduate Occupational Therapists to evaluate patient history, assess movement and functional abilities, and develop tailored treatment plans. You will mobilize joints, apply OT rehabilitation techniques, and guide patients through exercise programs.

You will also maintain detailed therapy records and collaborate with MDT teams, with opportunities to work in community settings and travel between clinics.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or new graduate in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to assess movement and functional abilities of patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on diagnoses.
• Experience with rehabilitation equipment and manual therapy techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating medical history and movement/functional abilities of new patients.
• Developing treatment plans based on medical diagnoses.
• Mobilizing and manipulating muscles and joints.
• Providing treatment using OT and rehabilitation equipment.
• Giving patients exercises to strengthen motor abilities.
• Maintaining updated patient records of therapy provided.
• Adjusting plans and prescribing new treatment when needed.
• Community-based work with travel to varied client types across ages.
