Job summary

Evergreen Care is inviting applications for a Part-time General Maintenance role across our nursing home network in Ireland. The job focuses on maintaining gardens, grounds, and building facilities to a high standard and coordinating with external contractors.

You will perform general repairs, inspect lighting, doors, and safety systems, manage supplies, and support H&S compliance to ensure a safe, pleasant environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance work in care or similar settings.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations for landscaping and maintenance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain home functions in working order and check appliances daily.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for repairs.
• Ensure grounds are safe and pleasant for residents.
• Assist with H&S requirements and risk assessments as needed.
• Act as fire officer and comply with relevant legislation.
