Job summary

Test Triangle is seeking an Information Security Architect (Intermediate) to strengthen cybersecurity, governance and incident response capabilities. The role blends hybrid work with 2 onsite days per week in Dublin or Cork, Ireland, and will support NIS2 readiness for Census 2027/2031.

The successful candidate will lead security architecture efforts across Azure and AWS, develop security policies, and drive risk reduction initiatives in collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in cybersecurity, information security architecture or related security discipline.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• NIST-related training and NIS2-related training or demonstrable practical implementation experience.
• One of these certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security architecture processes, standards and reference architectures.
• Provide security governance and architecture guidance across Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Lead/participate in NIS2 readiness assessments, risk reviews and remediation planning.
• Support security policy development, risk assessments and controls across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Contribute to Census 2027/Census 2031 cyber incident response plans and playbooks.
• Lead or support cyber incident response exercises and tabletop simulations.
