Job summary

Veterinary Staff in Ireland is seeking a Night Vet to join an Emergency & Critical Care team in Limerick. The role focuses on out-of-hours emergencies with sole-charge during the night shift, offering a varied caseload.

You will manage emergency presentations, stabilise critical patients, and perform urgent surgeries as needed, with a rolling 5-on/10-off rota and a strong focus on work-life balance. Salary €50,000–€80,000 depending on experience, with CPD support and a pension.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration required.
• Experience in emergency/critical care preferred.
• Sole-charge responsibility during night shifts.
• Strong surgical skills and ability to manage urgent procedures.
