Job summary

Veterinary Staff in Dundrum, South Dublin, is seeking an experienced Emergency & Critical Care Night Veterinary Nurse for a part-time role. The position offers night shifts with blocks and a 1-in-6 rota, delivering high standards of emergency care.

Salary ranges from €37,500 to €44,000 gross per year, depending on experience, with a €3,000 sign-on bonus. You will work in a modern hospital with dedicated critical care facilities.

Qualifications

• RVN with 5+ years' small animal experience is required.
• VCI-registered Veterinary Nurse status is required.
• Emergency/critical care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Emergency triage and stabilisation.
• Intensive nursing of critically ill patients.
• IV catheter placement, fluids and medications.
• Anaesthesia monitoring and recovery.
• Monitoring vitals and pain management.
• Diagnostic testing and patient records.
• Support and mentoring of junior staff.
