Job summary

Boston Scientific Cork is seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor (Nights) on a permanent basis to lead a team of production operators in a collaborative environment. You will drive safe, high-quality output and continuous improvement while aligning with scheduling and staffing needs.

The role requires 3–5 years of people-management experience in production, an honours degree, and strong planning, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• As a Production Supervisor, 3–5 years experience managing people in a dynamic production environment.
• Honours Bachelor Degree (level 8) in Engineering/Science/Production Mgt./Business Mgmt./Supervisory.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills are essential for this role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and engage teams.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and support production personnel to meet daily targets in quality, output, and efficiency.
• Production Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules including staffing and capacity planning.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Warehousing, Quality Assurance, Packaging, and Engineering.
• GMP, 5S & Housekeeping: Promote and maintain GMP standards and workplace cleanliness.
• Process Oversight: Monitor material flows, space utilization, and equipment performance for efficiency.
• Administrative Duties: Manage time and attendance, holidays, and progress tracking.
• Health, Safety & Environment: Work with EHS to reduce environmental impacts and ensure safety.
