Job summary

ThreatDown is seeking an MDR Associate Analyst for the night shift to join our remote Ireland team. This role supports 24/7/365 MDR operations while you work from home, coordinating with clients and internal colleagues.

You will monitor logs, validate alerts, and help remediate incidents using playbooks. A bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (or 2+ years of related experience).
• Strong ability to gather and analyze information methodically and make evidence-based decisions.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze logs and alerts in real-time.
• Validate and remediate incidents according to playbooks.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate with customers.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff and coordinate with teams.
