Job summary

Excel Recruitment seeks an NPD Manager in Cork to lead end-to-end product development across a diverse food portfolio. You will manage a team of developers and technologists, identify trends, and collaborate across commercial, technical and sourcing teams to ensure viability and compliance.

You will drive packaging innovation, sustainability and reformulation initiatives while managing supplier relationships and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in product development or a technical role within food, FMCG, retail or manufacturing.
• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Business or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and UK grocery markets and consumer trends.
• Proven experience managing multiple NPD projects from concept to launch.
• Understanding of food legislation, packaging requirements and product compliance.
• Strong commercial awareness, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous team management experience advantageous.

Responsibilities
