Overview

National Account Manager – Discounters & Exports

50% Office Based – Naas

We have an excellent opportunity to join Birds Eye as a National Account Manager for Discounters in Ireland and International Exports, accountable for the planning and delivery of a profitable growth plan within the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessies and Goodfella’s brands.

Utilising category and consumer insight to influence the customer and delight the shopper at points of purchase to achieve key business targets

Responsibilities

• Generating consumer business plans (JBPs).


• Developing profit-based account plans and budgets including identifying the customer’s key volume and profit drivers.


• Managing P&L of up to €20m.


• Monitor promotions and work closely with RGM and Commercial Finance to report real time learnings.


• Driving visibility and availability of Birds Eye SKUs within the customers.


• Identify new business opportunities within the channel.

About you

We need a driven and experienced commercial professional with experience of the Irish market, as well as managing discounters and exporters.

• FMCG Sales / Account Management experience essential.


• Experience of Discounters in Irish market, with export experience preferable.


• Excellent Excel skills and an analytical approach to reviewing data and managing a P&L


• Strong stakeholder management skills and proactive in communication.


• A good cross-functional worker fostering high performing behaviours.


• Experience with Retailer Brands preferential
