Job summary
Village Vets in North Dublin is seeking an experienced Animal Care Assistant to support our multi-site practices. You’ll assist the Veterinary Surgeon and Nurse, monitor inpatients, and help with basic lab work and diagnostics, including X-rays.

Qualifications
- Completed a relevant animal care qualification.
- Experience in animal care or veterinary environment.
- Ability to work in a busy, multi-site practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist Veterinary Surgeon and Veterinary Nurse with day-to-day duties.
- Caring for patients and inpatients; monitor vital signs.
- Assist with basic lab work, sample prep and diagnostics including X-rays.
- Carry out cleaning duties and maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist front-of-house duties and ensure a friendly reception.
- Promote Pet Health Plans and Pet Insurance.
- Carry out ad hoc clinical and administrative duties as required.
- Contribute to and maintain high client and patient experience.
