Bristol Myers Squibb is offering a Manufacturing Science and Technology Intern position in Ireland. You will work with upstream and downstream teams, contributing to process characterisation, technology transfers and data-driven improvements during your internship period.

This placement provides hands-on experience, exposure to real manufacturing operations, and opportunities to develop skills in purification, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration within a leading biopharma

Qualifications

Biotechnology, Science, Industrial Biochemistry, BioScience, Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering discipline of study.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Interest in biopharma and healthcare innovation.

Responsibilities

Actively participate and contribute to the MS&T team deliverables for 2026, including late stage process characterisation and product transfers.
Support product technical transfers and evaluate new process technologies using scale-down models and data.
Apply knowledge of protein structure, chromatography principles and membrane/filtration science to purification projects.
Prepare solutions required for protein purification unit operations.
Lead the design and execution of experiments on purification unit operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as required.
Generate and analyse data, and disseminate findings.
Provide technical support by troubleshooting manufacturing-scale process problems.
Assist in writing technical documents, protocols and reports.
