JOE DUFFY (MOTORS) LIMITED T/A Audi Approved: Drogheda is hiring Auto Technicians. The role covers diagnosing and repairing vehicles, servicing to manufacturer standards and performing electronic health checks. The position is full-time, 42 hours per week, based in Drogheda, with a salary range of €42,000 to €58,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults per manufacturer guidelines.
• Service vehicles following manufacturer standards.
• Record electronic health checks and identify additional work.
• Liaise with parts to identify and order correct parts.
• Communicate with workshop controller about timelines and delays.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and share best practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair vehicle faults according to manufacturer guidelinesService vehicles in line with manufacturer standardsCarry out and record electronic vehicle health checks to identify additional work requiredStay up to date with the latest technological developments in the brand(s)Complete detailed job card write-ups outlining work performedLiaise with the parts department to ensure correct parts are identified and orderedCommunicate with the workshop controller regarding additional work or delays in repair timelinesSave and tag warranty parts according to manufacturer requirementsMeet efficiency and productivity targets set by the workshop controllerWork collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and share best practicesMaintain workshop housekeeping standards at all times, including proper use and care of tools

Candidate RequirementsQualified Motor TechnicianExperience working with modern vehicle electronicsPrevious manufacturer experience is advantageousOrganised, flexible, and able to work effectively in a teamDiligent and capable of working well under pressureFull, clean driving licenceAble to work to high standards and motivated to continuously learnProfessional with a high standard of personal presentation

This is a full-time position with working hours of 42 hours per week.The salary range for this role is €42,000 to €58,000 per annum.
