Job Description

We are seeking a fully qualified mechanic with proven experience in vehicle electrics and the use of diagnostics tools. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate a high level of technical skill, and possess strong problem solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles (mainly petrol & diesel).
• Conduct electrical diagnostics & repairs, including wiring, sensors, batteries, lighting & electronic control systems.
• Accurately complete job cards & communicate with the front-of-house team regarding repair timelines & parts required.
• Carry out NCT preparation work & road testing where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe, & organised work area.

Requirements

• Fully qualified mechanic.
• Minimum 3 years workshop experience.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems & diagnostics.
• Full driving licence.
• Own tools.
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail & time management.
