Job summary
King & Moffatt Building Services in Ireland seeks a qualified Electrician to join our maintenance team. You will work on sites across the Maynooth region, plan and review maintenance tasks, and ensure all preparations are complete before starting work.
You will perform planned preventive maintenance and inspections in line with Irish regulations, IS 10101 and SFG20, document check sheets, and mentor Apprentices while adhering to safety and EHSQ policies.
Qualifications
- Level 6 Electrician qualification with current Irish/EU driving licence.
- Safe Electric/RECI registration or eligibility.
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Plan and review maintenance tasks, work orders, and PPMS.
- Complete Planned Preventive Maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and components.
- Direct and train Apprentices on installation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with Irish regulations, IS 10101 and SFG20.
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints and maintain records.
