Job summary

Modern Tyres Ireland (Retail) Limited is seeking a Mobile Breakdown Tyre Fitter to respond to customer break downs in Dublin and surrounding areas. The role includes a company van fully equipped for breakdowns, with REACT training to service customers.

Responsibilities include tyre repair/replacement, wheel mounting with torque wrench, and completing breakdown records. On-call and weekend flexibility is required; a valid driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar tyre fitting role.
• Full Clean Driving Licence required.
• Some tyre experience on trucks/cars/vans is essential.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and replacing tyres on customer vehicles as needed.
• Replacing wheels using a torque wrench to final tighten wheel nuts.
• Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer.
• Recording all relevant details in the breakdown book.
• Maintaining equipment, stock and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
• Adhering to company policies and on-call weekend requirements.

Job Title: Mobile Breakdown Tyre Fitter

Reports to: Supervisor/Manager

Location: Dublin

Job Summary:

The Mobile Breakdown Truck/Car/Van Tyre Fitter is responsible to respond to customer breakdowns in the Dublin and surrounding area. Company Van fully kitted to assist with breakdowns. Our breakdown drivers will receive REACT Training to best serve all our customers.

Key Tasks Required:

• Repairing and replacing customer's All types of tyres as needed
• Replacing wheels using the torque wrench to achieve final tightening of wheel nuts
• Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
• Recording all relevant details in the breakdown book
• Using materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner
• Full compliance with all safety procedures/truck operations essential safety steps
• Ensuring own vehicle is kept clean, with adequate stock and is serviced when necessary
• Adhering fully to the Company's operations manual
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
• Understand and adhere to all the Company policies and procedures/operations manual
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Must have some level of truck/car/van tire experience
• Full Clean Driving Licence essential
• Must be flexible to on-call rota and work weekends
