Job summary

Mid Level C++ Software Engineer in Kildare (Hybrid) to join an expanding Irish engineering team. You will develop production software using C++ and Python, build ML/DL solutions, and integrate with embedded and edge hardware.

Candidates should have 3+ years of commercial experience, a degree in CS/Engineering or similar, and strong analytical skills. Experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and C++ development skills
• Experience developing within Linux environments
• Knowledge of Machine Learning / Deep Learning
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of algorithms and software engineering principles
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Physics or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Build ML/DL solutions for defect detection, classification and measurement
• 3+ years commercial experience
• Develop production software using Python and C++
• Integrate vision software with embedded and edge hardware
• Take solutions from R&D through to production
• Work closely with software, embedded, electronics and optics teams
• Test and optimise algorithms using real-world datasets
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews and technical documentation
