Job Description
This role has a 40 hr working week, Monday – Friday 8.00am-16.30pm with a gross annual salary of €34,881.60 (paid pro-rata weekly). The responsibilities of this role include:
  • Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process and materials.
  • Perform welding on a variety of steel components, using MIG welding machines.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures by welding steel plates, pipes, and other materials.
  • Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and welding of parts to meet specifications.
  • Inspect welds for defects or structural issues, ensuring quality control.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform welding tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and welding equipment.
  • Perform maintenance on welding equipment as necessary and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Assist in material handling and preparation of parts before welding.
