Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Middleware Analyst to join Irish Water IT. You will contribute to the analysis, development, modification, and maintenance of Oracle SOA, Oracle Integration Cloud and Azure Logic Apps middleware, supporting Applications across the organisation.

Reporting to the Middleware Lead, you will help implement, configure, and optimize middleware services, collaborate with IT Build & Delivery, DBAs, and developers, and participate in on-call standby when required.

Qualifications

Relevant third level qualification and/or accreditation is desirable.
Minimum 3 years' experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable and/or relevant experience.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle SOA suite, Oracle Integration Cloud and Azure Logic Apps Middleware.
IT Middleware experience; Oracle environment is an advantage.
ITIL Certification and Project Management Certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Possess a strong understanding of customer business processes and interfaces with other systems.
Provide technical expertise in administration and support of Oracle SOA, Oracle Integration Cloud and Azure Logic Apps middleware.
Configure and implement SOA Suite middleware, diagnose problems, plan capacity, monitor web services, and administer middleware infrastructure.
Develop, document, and implement procedures to support, maintain, and enhance server products and services.
Oversee middleware infrastructure architecture and act as technical lead for issue resolution.
Support Integration Developers in day-to-day work and create strategy documents for development.
