Job summary

State Street in Dublin seeks an experienced IT Solutions professional to design and implement secure, compliant Office 365 platform solutions. You will work with engineering, operations and change management to modernize security posture and drive cloud-based product solutions for internal clients.

Key focus areas include Exchange, Defender, Purview, Smarsh, and enterprise vault integrations, with strong scripting capabilities in PowerShell and Python to automate workflows and audits.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of Office 365 products.
• Experience with Purview & Smarsh.
• Experience with Enterprise Vault, Cisco Ironport & Defender.
• Deep knowledge of Exchange server and related tooling.
• Strong scripting skills: PowerShell, Power Automate, Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, operations and change management to implement designs.

• Define long-term solution and environment roadmaps with management and strategy teams.
• Provide L5 support during major incidents and lead remediation actions.
• Create and maintain solution/engineering documentation and audit readiness.
• Automate repeatable tasks and reduce tech debt with rationalization proposals.

Job description

What you will be responsible for

• Develop solutions that meet business and technical requirements for associated platforms.
• Work directly with engineering , operations and change management teams to implement solutions designs.
• Modernize the security and compliance posture within the Microsoft O365 suite
• Drive product solutions to the cloud
• Work with Security & Compliance teams to ensure products and associated applications meet requirements
• Work with cyber security teams to mitigate risky activity within the environment
• Own solution and engineering documentation
• Prepare for , and take part in , internal audit activities
• Conduct bi-annual reviews of internal documentation & processes . Create remediation plans based on findings
• Implement automations for repeatable tasks
• Liaise with the Collaboration Services Center of Excellence team in order to build repeatable / scalable product solutions for internal customers
• Work with management and the strategy team to define long term solution & environment roadmaps
• Provide L 5 support in the event of major incidents.
• Working with engineering, develop streamlined and automated Service Now & SailPoint workflows
• Work to reduce tech debt; routinely look for and offer up rationalization proposals
