Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd is seeking a Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer for a hybrid role in Dublin. The six-month day-rate contract focuses on migrating email, user identities and files from the current Microsoft 365 environment to a new platform.

You will plan and test migration waves, move mailboxes, calendars, contacts, SharePoint and OneDrive content, and manage access during the move. The ideal candidate has hands-on M365 migration experience, Exchange Online expertise, and familiarity

• Strong Exchange Online migration knowledge.
• Experience moving SharePoint Online and OneDrive with permissions preserved.
• Experience managing user accounts, identities and access.
• Bonus: PowerShell scripting and other cloud suites.

Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer

We're looking for a Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer for an initial day-rate contract of 6 months. It's a hybrid role based in Dublin, working on a large cloud collaboration migration. You'll move email, identities and files from the current Microsoft 365 environment onto a new platform.

Responsibilities

• Help plan and test each migration wave, validate data, and support users through cutover and after go-live
• Migrate mailboxes, calendars and contacts from Exchange Online to the new cloud platform
• Move SharePoint and OneDrive content across, keeping folder structures and permissions intact
• Set up user accounts and groups on the new platform and manage access and permissions during the move
• Look after identity and directory configuration in both the old and new environments
• Find and fix migration problems quickly so users see as little disruption as possible
• Work closely with the in-house IT team and third-party technology partners
• Keep clear records of configurations, migration runbooks and support procedures

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and delivering migrations
• In-depth knowledge of Exchange Online and email migration
• Experience moving SharePoint Online and OneDrive content and managing permissions
• Experience managing user accounts, identities and access
• Experience with migration tools such as MigrationWiz, Cloudiway or similar would be an advantage
• Experience with other cloud productivity suites (e.g. Google Workspace) and PowerShell scripting would be a bonus
• Confident communicator who can work on their own in a project setting with tight deadlines
