Job summary

MSD in Dunboyne, Ireland seeks a Spclst, Operations, Tech Supply. The Microbiology/Virology SME will drive method verification, qualification and transfer activities across the network, delivering scientific support and training.

Relocation not required; hybrid working model; 20% travel; VISA sponsorship available. You will collaborate with QC-Micro and AS&T teams to ensure GMP-compliant experiments and regulatory-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Level 8 degree (Masters desirable)
• 4–5 years relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Microbiology/Virology
• Project management skills and ability to lead initiatives
• Knowledge of regulatory and quality guidelines (GMP)
• Able to work in multidisciplinary teams with analytical focus

Responsibilities

• SME for microbiological/virological methods across products
• Support method verification/suitability and transfer during receiving unit onboarding
• Provide training to network and support for rapid microbiology initiatives
• Author primary/secondary source documents for regulatory filings
• Participate in root cause analyses and global changes as SME
