Job summary

Merck seeks a dedicated Specialist, Operations, Tech Supply, to act as SME for microbiological/virological methods across the network, with responsibility for method transfer, qualification, and regulatory documentation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Masters desirable.
• Minimum 4–5 years in Pharmaceutical Microbiology/Virology.
• Regulatory and quality guidelines knowledge (GMP).
• Able to work in multidisciplinary teams; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for at least two microbiological/virological methods with scientific understanding.
• Support method transfer, qualification, and implementation at Dunboyne site and network.
• Provide scientific and practical support for microbiological tests and studies as needed.
• Contribute to method development, validation, and regulatory filings.
• Lead or participate in investigations, root cause analyses, and change control processes.
