Job summary

Abbott Ireland is seeking a Micro Lab Technician to join the manufacturing quality team at the Cootehill site. You will perform batch release testing, microbiological analysis, and environmental monitoring to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in Microbiology or a related field and hands-on laboratory skills. You will work with GMP procedures, maintain equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree in Microbiology or related scientific discipline.
• Strong understanding of compliance and quality standards.
• Good microbiological techniques and methods.
• Computer skills including Word & Excel; familiarity with LIMS is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• The technician will carry out all testing associated with Batch Release & Microbiological Analysis and Environmental monitoring.
