Eurofins Biomnis Ireland is recruiting for a Laboratory Aide in Microbiology to join the team at our Sandyford laboratory in Dublin 18. The role involves registering patient specimens on the LIS, resolving queries, and coordinating with Microbiology staff for reception and processing.

The ideal candidate will have Leaving Certificate or a science-related diploma and up to 1 year of relevant experience, with training provided as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Leaving Certificate or science-related diploma desirable but not essential.
• Ideally 1 year in a similar role, but not mandatory (can be trained in-house).
• Candidates must have the personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role.

Aufgaben

• Register patient specimens onto the Laboratory Information Management Systems, ensuring demographics match the specimens.
• Identify and resolve specimen queries.
• Liaise with Microbiology staff to streamline specimen reception, booking in and processing.
