Job summary

CLS - Complete Laboratory Solutions in Ireland's Connacht region is seeking a dedicated Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join its fast-growing team. You will conduct microbiological assays, record results, and help maintain cGMP-compliant laboratory operations.

Reporting to the Microbiology Lab Supervisor, you will perform tests such as filtration, Colilert, pour plate, and product analysis, ensure data integrity in the LIMS, and support validation and waste management.

Responsibilities

• Working as directed by the Microbiology Lab Supervisor according to Company safety policies, cGMP.
• Performing microbiological testing including Filtration, Colilert, Pour Plate and Product testing.
• Ensuring results are recorded in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Ensuring that any out of specification results are investigated according to site procedures.
• Completion of testing documentation / LIMS and ensuring Right First Time KPIs are achieved.
• Stock control within Micro laboratory.
• Support of validation activity e.g. (BI's and Cleaning verification)
• Maintaining laboratory SOPs and specifications in a state of compliance.
• Assisting with out of specification investigations.
• Assisting the Quality Manager with the verification of equipment.
• Waste control and maintenance of the laboratory and of the Lab cleaning schedule.
• Performing any other activities as indicated by the Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor.
• Support the Lean Laboratory program within the Microbiology Laboratory.
• Ability to perform repetitive testing.
